Leonidas Pollakis is a Greek-American citizen who lives and studies in Southampton, UK. He received the “Swampy” Award upon graduating from Carl Harrison High School in Kennesaw, GA, USA--an honour which is bestowed upon the student which that school’s Social Studies Department believes has done the best in the field of social studies consistently throughout their studies at the high school.
After high school, Leonidas studied International Relations at the University of Indianapolis at that university’s campus in Athens, Greece. He is now finishing his Undergraduate Philosophy degree at the University of Southampton. [He plans on studying a mixed Masters degree incorporating Politics, Economics, and Philosophy.]
Leonidas is interested in International Relations, Political Philosophy, Human Nature, Education, Economic Theory, US Politics, US Foreign Relations, and US History, as well as the philosophies of Aristotle, Hegel, and Wittgenstein.
In his spare time, he likes to think and write about philsophico-political problems. He is also a published poet.
