The Strategic Outlook Journal of Regional Studies (SOJRS) invites all researchers and lecturers to submit papers for the first volume. The journal will be published in Summer 2015.
Strategic Outlook (SO) is a leading research organization and think-tank in Turkey which publishes exclusively in English. Our staffs provide innovative news and analysis on the latest on global and regional issues. SO’s authors and researchers come from a variety of countries in Middle East, the Caucasus, Russia, Middle Asia, Europe, Africa and East Asia giving our institution a truly global perspective. Our experts of Strategic Outlook have worked for a variety of international media, academic institutions, NGOs and government agencies. Key to the objectives of SO is to provide a forum where journalists, regional experts, public policy makers, researchers and authors with in the world international affairs can exchange their views. SO seeks to promote a blend of both traditional and modern research tools. We strive to promote investigative journalism and methodical scholarly research, as well as 21st century methods such as social media and multimedia sharing. With these objectives in mind, SO seeks to recruit journalists and researchers from around the world who share our common aim.
The Strategic Outlook Journal of Regional Studies intends to be an English publication devoted to the areas of International Relations, Political Sciences, Economy and Public Administration. The main goal is to produce and diffuse high-quality work produced by authors following a multidisciplinary conception of Area Studies.
The Strategic Outlook Regional Studies Journal will publish three types of documents: scientific papers (from 8000 to 10000 words); analysis and opinion articles (selected by the Nucleus Team from all the material published at Strategic Outlook’s website); book reviews (from 750 to 2500 words). The authors interested in publishing a paper will have to send a complete version of the paper, using the citation system that will be defined by the SOJRS, and a resumed CV (maximum three pages) to an email that the magazine will provide.
